What is it?

Reflexology is a massage technique which is believed to stimulate specific areas of the feet which are mapped to certain organs in the human body.

What is it used for?

It is believed foot reflexology may help stimulate internal organs, restore psychophysical balance, detoxify, and relieve nervous muscular tension. Recommended especially for physical and emotional problems, it’s great for relieving everyday anxiety and stress.

What does a session involve?

A session lasts approximately one hour and is carried out with the patient comfortably lying on a massage table with their head slightly raised. The therapist applies pressure and massages with their thumbs on selected points of the foot following a map of the reflex zones.

How many sessions are needed?

The practitioner will suggest the right quantity based on the type of problem the patient has. It is said that after at least five to six sessions you may start to see results.
