Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are made for tired feet. They offer amazing comfort. For casual shoes, trainers or flats used for walking or daily activities use the Everyday GelActiv™ insoles, for sport activities use the Sport GelActiv™ insoles and if there is excessive pressure being put on your feet for a long period use the Work GelActiv™ insoles.
When you stand, walk or perform other activities with your feet, these can get tired over a long time. Scholl is offering insoles to improve the comfort in your shoes and provide non-stop cushioning. The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are made for individual needs of daily activities, leisure sports and everyday work. The GelActiv™ technology absorbs micro shocks and helps reduce excessive pressure of walking.
The dual gel effectively absorbs micro shocks and helps reduce excessive pressure of walking or daily activities. The firmer gel provides arch and heel support and softer gel gives superior* cushioning and shock absorption.
*vs not wearing insoles
There is no age limit for the use of GelActiv™ insoles. However the insoles are intended for full-grown people of adult age and should not be used in shoes that are smaller than the size guide on the insoles indicate, so that cushioning occurs in the right parts of the foot.
Please refer to question on “Can I break something by cutting the insoles?”
Orthopaedic and orthotic insoles are designed, among other aspects, for compensation of foot pathologies/position issues and the correction of false posture. They help to control or change the way your foot works, and can add support and relieve foot pain. As a rule they are recommended by an expert and often tailored to suit the exact shape of your foot.
Scholl GelActiv™ insoles offer non-stop comfort all day long and are not to be confused with orthopaedic or orthotic insoles. If you are reliant on orthopaedic or orthotic insoles we recommend wearing them instead.
The Work insoles were designed with holes in the forefoot that could help provide some ventilation, however this depends on the type of shoe you are using with insoles.
Use of GelActiv ™ insoles should not have an impact on odour.
The insoles are offered for men and women. The only difference is the size. The insoles for women are fitting for shoe size 6 to 9. The insoles for men are fitting for shoe size 8 to 13. The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are to cut to size. Please use the cutting guide to match the insoles to the different shoe sizes.
When cutting, use sharp scissors to ensure that there is no frazzling of the edge. The insoles will not be damaged when cutting is done carefully. Cut along the outline on the outside of the line first to prevent the insole being too small (as some shoes will vary slightly from their stated size). The insole can then be further trimmed to fit.
The Scholl GelActivTM insoles are to cut to size. You can cut along the outlines to match the insoles to the different shoe sizes. Detailed instructions on how to cut the insoles can be found on the inside of the packaging.
Remove existing insoles and replace with Scholl GelActiv™ insoles with the gel side down.
The only difference is the size. That means if you are a woman who needs a bigger size you can use insoles for men, if you are a man who needs a smaller size you can use insoles for women.
The Everyday insoles are made for everyday shoes, the Sport insoles are made for trainers and the Work insoles are made for work boots. Of course you can switch one pair of insoles between different shoes.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are also suited for use in summer as well as in winter shoes.
The insoles can be worn without socks. But we recommend wearing socks or hosiery to prevent the feet from getting sweaty.
If you are reliant on orthopaedic or orthotic insoles we recommend wearing them instead. The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are not made for compensation of foot malposition but rather to improve the comfort in your shoes and they should not be worn at the same time.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are produced according to high quality standards and we don’t expect the colour of insoles to transfer onto your shoes.
If the Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are humid, we recommend you remove them from the shoe and to air them in a dry room. If the insoles are damaged by moisture, we recommend not using them further.
The insoles are not machine-washable. To clean your insole, simply wipe the insoles with a warm soapy cloth (do not soak). Dry them before putting them back into the shoes.
Replace the insoles when showing signs of wear. Replacement every 4-6 months is recommended.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are offered in pharmacies, supermarkets and online.
